David began painting in oils at age 12 and won his first, 1st-place prize at age 15. While painting full time he also followed a career in aviation. He has studied the works of the Masters extensively, and has developed a variety of techniques, from glazing, scumbling, dry brush, dripping, to wet-in-wet. His works are held in corporate and private collections around the United States and Canada. David is continuing his studio education at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia.
